Founded in 1997 in Bellevue, Washington, O’Bunco Engineering International Inc. (OEI) is a Pacific Northwest-based firm specializing in engineering, surveying, construction, and management services. With over two decades of experience, OEI leverages innovative thinking and advanced technology to deliver impactful, sustainable infrastructure solutions that benefit communities today and for generations to come.

We pride ourselves on our ability to balance visionary ideas with the technical expertise required to execute them—safely, effectively, and at any scale. This commitment is exemplified through landmark projects such as the SR 520 Pontoon Construction in Aberdeen and the Port of Tacoma, Brightwater Treatment Plant (King County’s largest infrastructure project), and the Howard Hanson Dam Safety Improvements.

Our leadership and key staff bring over 45 years of combined experience across Washington State, contributing to major infrastructure developments including tunnels, roads, bridges, transit systems, water and sewer systems, solid waste facilities, universities (University of Washington), healthcare buildings (VA Hospital), housing developments, and sports venues like Safeco Field.

OEI’s in-depth knowledge of local regulations, design standards, and construction practices enables us to execute complex projects efficiently and in full compliance. As an active member of the Pacific Northwest business community, we are committed to shaping the region’s future through sustainable development and infrastructure innovation.
